The Challenge

CDE is the global leader in wet processing equipment for sand, aggregates, and materials recycling. Their machines turn low-value and waste material into sellable product, and their buyers are quarry and plant operators who make seven-figure equipment decisions on evidence, not adjectives. Equipment this large, installed in operations this remote, cannot be explained in a brochure, and a stale reel cannot carry a trade show booth. The buying cycle is long and international, and every prospect asks the same question in a different accent: show me this working somewhere like my site. A brochure cannot answer that question. An operator on camera, standing in front of the running machine, can.

The Production Approach

We filmed where the machines actually work. Customer testimonial and technical films at operating plants from Long Island to Calgary to Salt Lake City, featuring operators like Freehaven Materials, Calgary Aggregate Recycling, and Luck Stone on camera in their own facilities. Installation films followed builds through commissioning. At ConExpo 2023, North America's biggest construction show, we produced a full event system: a sizzle, a throwback film, and a recap cut fast enough to matter. Technical films documented the plants themselves: EvoWash lines producing concrete, asphalt, and masonry sands, shot at operating pace alongside the people who run them. The event work added the energy of the industry's biggest stage to the same story.

The Impact

The testimonial library does the selling a spec sheet cannot: real operators describing real throughput in real plants. The films work in sales conversations across CDE's global markets, and the ConExpo content stretched a major show investment into months of usable material. Proof, filmed at industrial scale. Because each film pairs a testimonial with the technical detail behind it, sales can match proof to prospect: same material, same problem, same machine.
